Specification:
Methyl silicic acid sodium is an organic compound with the molecular formula CH5SiO3Na. It is a colorless liquid with a relative density of 1.23 to 1.26.
It is a new type of rigid building waterproof material with good penetration crystallization properties. Its molecular structure contains silanol groups that react with silanol groups in silicate materials to dehydrate and cross-link, thus achieving the "anti-capillary effect" to form excellent water-repellent layers, while also having the function of micro-expansion and increasing density.
It is used as a waterproofing agent for concrete, limestone, gypsum products, red brick, sandstone, plaster, mortar, and newly-dug brick and tile. It can also be used as an additive for mortar.

Usage:
  1. It is widely used for waterproofing and moisture-proofing of roofs, interior and exterior walls, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and warehouses, as well as for blocking penetration and preventing seepage of reinforced concrete structures.
  2. Used for underground civil defense engineering: such as culverts, bridges, dams, tunnels, large hydroelectric power stations, and water diversion projects to reduce water erosion and prevent weathering.
  3. For various types of water tanks: such as swimming pools, water purification tanks, sewage tanks, and water towers.
  4. Used for high-absorption inorganic agglomerates: such as perlite boards, roof tiles, cement bricks, lightweight brick facades for high-rise buildings, asbestos, inorganic fabrics, insulation materials, etc., for impregnation to give them a marked waterproof and moisture-proof effect;
  5. It is widely used in exterior wall decoration for water-soluble architectural coatings to prevent water penetration, protect colors, prevent pollution, and prevent aging.
  6. An additive used for latex paint, water glass, and 107 glue, which can make them have obvious water retention properties and maintain stable adhesion strength.
  7. It is used in oil drilling to adjust the viscosity and density of mud, which can effectively prevent collapse of the drilling and improve the drilling rate.
  8. It is used for pumping oil from wells in the later stages, injecting oil into the oil-producing strata, preventing the collapse of the geological framework of the oil-producing strata, and making it easier to extract oil from wells located further away.
  9. Used for other special purposes to reduce water absorption and improve waterproofing.

Using methods:
1. Construction of waterproof mortar: clean the substrate of sand, debris, oil and other impurities; the ratio of cement to sand should be controlled at 1:2.5-3 (32.5R grade silicate cement, medium sand, less than 3% clay content), the water-cement ratio should be ≤0.5. The use of pure organosilicon waterproofing agent should be 3-5% of the cement used, in order to ensure uniform mixing, the organosilicon waterproofing agent should be mixed with the water required for the mortar proportion before adding cement and sand. The waterproof layer is constructed in two layers (each layer is 10mm thick). The base layer is first coated with a thin layer of white mud (1mm), then the waterproof mortar layer is coated, and the surface is pressed firmly with a wooden trowel to form a rough surface. The second layer of waterproof mortar is coated and pressed firmly (if decorative construction is required, it must be formed into a rough surface). Normal watering should be done for curing, and spraying cement curing agent is even better.

2. Construction of waterproof concrete: The pure organosilicon waterproofing agent is added at a rate of 1% of the cement volume, uniformly mixed into the concrete mixture, and the construction method is the same as that of ordinary concrete. To ensure uniform mixing, the organosilicon waterproofing agent should be mixed with the water required for the concrete mixture before being added to the mixture along with cement, sand, and gravel.

3, Repair of leakage: When the original substrate is smooth, it must be chiseled into a rough surface, and the dust on the surface must be cleaned before a bonding layer of mortar is applied. Then, a layer of waterproof mortar must be applied. For leakage spots, it is necessary to first stop the leakage. The corners must be made into round corners and pressed firmly. The overlap must be in the form of a slope (the overlap width is 100-150mm), and when overlapping, a bonding layer of mortar must be applied first, followed by a layer of waterproof mortar.

4. Application of anti-seepage construction: When diluted with 8 times water, the organic silicon waterproofing agent can be sprayed on the surfaces of cement, bricks, tiles, gypsum board, and ordinary paint walls, etc., which are inorganic building materials with high water absorption, for anti-seepage and moisture-proof treatment, with excellent effects.


Cautions for Using
1. This product can be used for winter construction when used in combination with anti-freeze agents such as sodium nitrite.

2, This product is a general chemical item. Construction workers should be careful when storing, transporting, and using it, and should avoid getting it on their faces, especially in their eyes. If this happens, rinse immediately with plenty of water or seek medical attention. Workers should wear protective gloves, goggles, and work clothes to avoid contact with the product.

3. This product must not come into contact with zinc, aluminum, or tin, etc. during transportation and use. It should not be stored in iron containers, as it may cause chemical reactions that lead to product degradation and corrosion of the container.

This product is packed in 200Kg iron drums or plastic drums and transported as a non-hazardous material.

Cautions for Storage
This product should be protected from rain and sun exposure during storage and transportation, and the packaging container should not be damaged. The storage and transportation environment temperature should be between 0-30°C.
